Wendy Park is a Korean American painter whose practice explores memory, urban alienation, and the quiet intimacy of working-class life. Paying homage to their family’s experiences as first-generation Korean immigrants and working-class vendors in Los Angeles, Park focuses on objects to capture fleeting moments—ashtrays and tiger balm, passing reflections in glass, and unspoken gestures that reveal emotional intimacy without figuration.
THAT Co. featured Park in 2023. She has presented solo exhibitions in New York, Seoul, Los Angeles, and Miami, and her work has been shown at art fairs including Art Basel Hong Kong, Frieze LA, and Independent.
