About the program
OVERVIEW
Room for Error is The Here and There Collective’s curatorial residency and commission program supporting emerging Asian diasporic curators and cultural workers in the greater New York City area.
Designed for curators at an early stage in their practice, the program offers one resident the opportunity to develop and present a public exhibition or other project in a New York City gallery space, with mentorship, a project budget, and additional support from THAT Co.
True to its name, Room for Error is a space for experimentation: an opportunity to pursue something fun, strange, difficult to explain, unfinished, or not yet fully resolved. Rather than asking for an airtight idea from the outset, the program creates room for a curator to test, develop, and bring an ambitious new project to life.
